Welcome! This is an official application for a concealed handgun permit. You must completely and accurately fill-out this application to be considered for a permit. Any falsification of the information within this application will result in the refusal of this application for a concealed handgun permit.

Your application process does not start until you come in for your appointment and we notarize your paperwork and fingerprint you, (for New Concealed), or you print your package and have it notarized and we receive the notarized packet in our office. It does not start the day you fill out the online application.

Please note: If you are retired/discharged from the military, you must bring Member 2 or Member 4 copy of your DD214. If you have a North Carolina Driver's License or ID, it must have your current address in Cumberland County on it. If you have out of state ID or DL, you must bring copy of utility bill, lease or car registration for Proof of Residency. It must be dated over 30 days old.

A non-refundable processing fee is required. In addition, a online service fee is required to process payment. These fees will be charged even if your application is denied.

You will only be able to submit passwords that are sufficiently complex as to be considered 'safe' by CJIS standards.
